The problem tonight was they shut it down with way to much time left. When this team isn't running their offense they suck on D.
whats that for? Stating stats doesnt sit well with you bud? Yes again well aware BDJ has actually twice not 3 times the minutes. If you are going to argue you want BDJ at the free throw line vs Thomas than you are crazy

We won but why don't I feel like it...just pathetic at the end. This team has got to learn how to shoot free throws and play some defense. They seem to have this chip on their shoulders like they're better than the other team and that alone will make us win. That's what happened at Texas Tech, Baylor and against South Carolina. All three of those games should have been wins. They need to stop watching ESPN and reading social media, because right now we are the darling of college basketball, but that doesn't get us wins. My 2 cents.
A team that averages 30% from the arc was chucking up long range 3's and they were going in. What are you suppose to do? When you defend Texas, your attention should be focused on the paint.
Yeah, well...leave a DI scholarship athlete wide open and that's what happens. It was just mind boggling to watch how lazy ISU got on defense over the last six minutes.
I hope Hoiberg can figure out how to keep these guys motivated for 40 minutes against TCU.
Another game where we have a 21 point lead and win by 3. All those player locker room talks and they still haven't figured out how to put a team away. Can't play like this against Kansas at Kansas and expect to win. We will have more losses, if they continue to play like this. Is does, however, make an exciting game.

I respectfully disagree. Before the 3 1/2 minute (left in the game), we were getting great looks - missed a couple. However, when Texas decided to throw caution to the wind and press -- we started attacking the basket instead of taking more time off the clock. They'd foul us on a 5 second possession, the clock stops, we'd make 1 of 2 (or none at all) and they'd come down and score in about 5-8 seconds against some pretty shoddy D. Rinse and Repeat (with a terrible pass/attempted 1-hand catch by the Niang-BDJ combo). Prior to this, it was a 5 possession game (5 3ptrs needed to win the game). You get three 30 second possessions, you are likely in much better shape with less than 2 minutes to go.
They hit 12 out of 15 3pts in the 2nd half. Kentucky would of lost a lead to that kind of shooting.
ISU worried too much about fouling for a stretch there, then didn't guard 3's tight with risk of easy layups (which they were getting anyway). And ... free throws. Again.
beat a top 20 team and people are ******, I swear some of you guys would ***** about a free brick of gold being too heavy. That was a hell of a win, should never feel bad after a loss. These teams aren't going to just lay down for you.
