Very deserving loss. Tech was better team today. I think we are in for a rough November.
I agree we deserve the loss. I wholeheartedly disagree Tech was the better team. That was coaching malpractice on the offensive side of the ball. We gave up 23 points and that defense of Tech’s is utter trash. Idk what Mouser was calling and players with just bizarre moments today that we haven’t seen all year.

Reasons: Manning type non-creative play calling, Rocco trying to throw fast balls and being inaccurate, Hansen injured supposedly where he is much superior to our other backs, receivers not getting separation, and Verdon not catching that ball in the end zone, cast or no cast.

Offense needs more than RPOs to expose teams run blitzing non-stop. Don't recall any screen plays of any kind this game. Our red zone plays were abysmal. First game we floundered timeouts away needlessly. We healed up physically but regressed mentally.

Disappointing as this was an extremely winnable game. T Tech was gifting it to us, but for some reason we refused to accept it.

Penalties, getting the ball at the one and not scoring td, not getting the 4th and 2 in scoring position, turning the ball over in scoring position, setting up for that missed FG, 2 point conversions. letting them drive the length of the field in 1 minute in the rain to win. To include 4th down coversions. Just a horrible job

Something is wrong and I really do see us finishing 9-3 then a bowl game . Which will probably lose just because of the 10 win thing.
Should be positive about being 7-1 but I can’t for some reason

Another pet peeve of mine. There are at least 2-3 plays every game in obvious, no doubt passing situations we waste time and blitz pickup positioning for the RB by running play action.

100% agree with you but mediocre shouldn’t put you at #11.
It absolutely does when there are lots of other mediocre teams in the 10 - 25 mix. That's how much true parity is in college football right now. You just cannot f*** up games like this. It's too important.

Every time we tried an RPO today our linemen were downfield and we got flagged.

I know in the moment people are angry and bitter as I'm too but a bigger picture needs to be looked at to.

We took the field in November as one of 7 undefeated teams remaining.

We have done despite a ton of injuries.

Anyone on this board would of signed up for what we had going into today.

There is still plenty this team can still accomplish that past teams haven't done.
There is no looking at the bigger picture when it always ends up looking the same.

CMC turtles and plays not to lose exactly when it hurts you most.

Prevent for the whole drive, and only rushing 3? Idiotic.

Did Matt Campbell hit Mouser over the head with a candle stick and started calling the plays the last quarter?

Realistically I don’t think anything is wrong. I think it’s a decent team playing a cake schedule. We have a nice team but not good enough to win 11 or 12 games.
