They tried some different offense sets but it didn’t help.

Did not expect us to lose by 15 to TCU. In the end it won’t be a bad loss as TCU will likely be in the tournament , but I have gone from optimistic to concerned regarding the rest of the season.l Lots of basketball left, but I’m not sure how you fix lack of offensive talent. It will take some amazing coaching to come up with a scheme that works.

My confidence of making the tournament is about 45% now. I don't' like what I see at all.
you can't make up how bad they are offensively.

Tie for worst performance EVER in Hilton…. but people think we still gave great effort!!! That’s BS! Settling for guarded 3’s and not moving at all on offense is NOT good effort.

I won’t be patting them on the back.

Can someone in the media ask about TE and his lack of playing time? If it’s injury least we know
Agree, he got the rally started and the crowd back into the game and then didn’t play anymore. If he isn’t hurt, that looks like a Prohm coaching move

Then set up some offense where we aren’t firing up 20 some threes. Take control of your team and run something that gets motion towards the basket

Look in the mirror for those that howl about the refs. There were plenty doing so the first half.
Team sucks today and sucked at TTech. Accept our shortcomings and stop blaming officials.

You say it like you were being clever, when it was an obvious troll attempt from the beginning. You've provided no looks in the mirror to anyone.

Complaining about some calls is a normal fan reaction. That's all that's happened this game. Nothing more. Big difference from the last 2 losses when the officials completely changed those games.

TJ needs to draw up plays to move the ball inside. It sucks having zero inside threat (I'm sorry Conditt and Jones are ass), so we have to work to get the back court inside. Every single game we've lost this year is because we've relied to heavily on the jump shots.

I hope TJ aggressively pursues a couple legit scorers in the portal next year, and I couldn't care less if they can play a lick of defense. Also, I would like to see more ability to adjust on the fly in games.

You don't think they've tried several things?

IB is running around all over the place out there trying to get just that. It's hard to get an easy shot if you can't get open.

It's like the 'why don't ISU's receivers get separation?' thing that comes up every fall. It's not scheme.
IB is moving like crazy but not off many screens to get him open on his dominant side of the basket. We literally started the TT game with an excellent set play to get him an easy 2 and haven’t seen anything like it since. I realize we are at a major weakness with offensive talent but if you haven’t seen teams adjust to us defensively and us still try to do the same things nothing more I can say.

There’s a trend that has begun to rear its head the last couple games. Started against OU and the last couple have been the same. It’s obvious scouting has gotten even better against us and we have been unable to adjust. Losing like that at home is a little concerning hopefully they can right the ship.

Hound Brockington on D and reverse the ball to get an entry pass for a high percentage shot on offense. That's it, that's the scouting report. If Iowa State is hitting 3s it will be a close game, if they don't you can chase them off their own court.

The team looked tired. Wonder if the Tech game took more out of them. You saw the same thing kind of happen after the home Tech game.

The reality is we are limited offensively. We don’t need to be great but we need more than just Brockington. A guy can have an off night but not the entire team.

It’s also frustrating as we have decent offensive action we just can’t take advantage of it. We will get open looks and just brick them.

People in complete doom and gloom need to STFU. That was a rough loss we needed to have but we can still recover. It isn’t going to be an easy year but that’s the reality of playing in this Big12 where all 10 are really tournament caliber teams.

Just an absolute embarrassing effort today. 44 points is unacceptable at any level. Tristan Enaruna will probably transfer again after this season and I won’t blame him. He was the sole reason ISU had a chance against Baylor by putting the team on his back only to be relegated back to limited minutes like he was getting before that game. Did he even play again after the “sub T.E. Out” when the game clock hits 17 minutes in the second half? He always gets subbed out after the first 3 minutes and barely plays again after that. He is clearly one the 4 better players on this team and gets to spend most games looking on from the bench and never gets a chance to get into rhythm when he does play because he’s always quick to get subbed out.
