I'll be at the game.

Crossing my fingers that Christopherson splits time with McGee.

Should be an easy game for the Cyclones if we come out with some intensity.

Would like to see the team come out with a little more fire. If we can do that, we should be up by about 25-30 at half. We need to take care of this team early so we can see a little more Tavon and Railey.

Northern Colorado was in the NCAA tournament last year, but they shouldn't be that good this year. Still, they're not a bad team for a directional school

Will be there. Hope to see some more improvement from Sunday's game. Scotty and the rest of the team did a lot better job pushing the ball up the floor on Sunday, but obviously there is still a lot of room for improvement.

They played three decent teams pretty well so this isn't as easy as people think. Hopefully tonight the guys come and out and play well from the start. It would be nice to see what they can do if they put a complete game together.

Northern Colorado played three decent teams relatively close. Our guys need to come out with some defensive intensity and avoid making lazy passes. If that happens, it should be a relatively easy win.
I don't consider a 14 point loss and a 18 point loss close. The 9 point loss is "okay" I guess.

Definitely a tougher opponent than the Catamounts.

Games like this are a little nerve-inducing. Lost close games vs. decent teams that I would still expect ISU to beat ... should win by 20, but close call wouldn't shock me.

Im talking about close for a small school like they are. They aren't a 30-40 point guaranteed pushoverteam. Against New Mexico State they were tied at half time. Against the next team they played, I think it was Wyoming, they played them even for the second half. Against UNI I think they were either tied or only down a couple at half. They may not be a good team but they are team that can keep it close if the team isn't playing well.

Good point.

I think I misread the 18-point loss as 8.

No reason not to win comfortably, but have a feeling the team might play well for only one half. Seems to be a trend.

We've shown up every other game (although last game we clearly showed up only for a half).

If we show up, we win comfortably and show more improvement and cohesion. If we don't show up, we probably still win, but a close game. Everyone walks away frustrated because we should have done better.

UNC fan here. I'm expecting ISU to win by about 15 tonight. I'll be pretty surprised if the Bears actually win, but there's no reason they can't at least hang around and be competitive. If anyone would like a scouting report for the Bears I'd be happy to give it.

Who is your leading scorer? Do you run an Up-Tempo offense?

Leading scorer is sophomore guard Paul Garnica, he's a great shooter, 11 for 15 from deep so far this year. We haven't played extremely up-tempo so far, but I expect us to look to push the pace more as the season goes. We are EXTREMELY young, there's only 1 senior and 2 juniors on the roster, but one of the juniors doesn't see very much court time. The vast majority of the Bears minutes come from freshmen and sophomores.

Hopefully we can cut down on the turnovers we've had early this season. I'm hoping we can play a cleaner game. We should win fairly easy IMO.
