Let's get this straight, I hate Nebraska. During the last discussion; on who had the best stadium entrance someone said I must be a fan... WRONG!!!

So, I will officially start the Nebraska bashing-

Fact: Domestic Violence rises 300% in the State of Nebraska whenever the Huskers lose a game. (actual FBI crime reporting statistic)

Fact: 85% of Nebraska's entire population, lives within 50 miles of Iowa. (Nebraska residents will actually argue with you on this). And claim Grand Island, Hastings and Kearney are real cities.

Fact: Most State Capitals are geographically in the Center of the State, (except Nebraska)

Now, please continue the bashing... :biglaugh:

I don't like Nebraska any more than any good Cyclone, but if 85% of their population is in the extreme eastern edge of the state, and that's where the state was founded, doesn't it make sense to have the capital in that area?

Geographically? Politically? NO..

Why have the most rural and poorest part of your state, drive 300 plus miles within the boundaries of your OWN state just to get to the State Capital?

Eastern Iowa is more Populated than Central and Western Iowa, should we move the Captial back to Iowa City??

Or should we continue to remember the rest of the State and it's population???

1. Nebraska fans have the audacity to call themselves the greatest fans in college football, which is like a restaurant claiming to have the biggest and best burgers anywhere.

2. Along I-80, a perplexing structure was built across the road, the Platte River Trail Archway... wisely, there is no exit off I-80 built for it and one must backtrack several miles to visit the mysterious structure (it's actually a museum)....

3. Nebraska is too pious to allow statewide casino gambling, (sans the lottery), yet the parking lot at the casinos in C. Bluffs are typically filled with nebraska-plated cars (thanks for helping fund Vision Iowa, nebraska!)

4. From my own personal career experience, rural Nebraskans hate the government at all levels, yet when they nuke their aquifers to irrigate corn in basically a desert environment, the first person they run to for help is Congressman Osborne...

5. Lil' Red... SERIOUSLY??

6. Larry the Cable Guy??

7. Omaha builds the 1st national bank tower 3 ft. higher than the Principal Building in Des Moines.... LAME

8. Unicameral legislature?? like that's something to be proud of? WOW nebraska

9. Public power?? isn't that being anti-free market?

10. The arial-font capital "N" on the helmets, for cripes sake people, could you update your helmet once every half century or so?

11. Neb. has never won an men's NCAA tourney game

12. If it's "the good life" then how come so many nebraskans live here in Colorado?
