I can almost understand RW not shooting free throws well and if he was the only one who missed alot, ok. but he was not the only one who missed way too many. How can shooting guards (since we don't have a pg, I assume we have 3 shooting guards on the court) miss so many FT?
2-3 zone would have worked if two players would actually play ******* defense clearing my throat Chris Allen.
That's not the point. I'm just sick of the complaints about student noise level. It was a decent crowd, and as much as we may want it, the fans don't make free throws with noise.
Just lost to the #9 team in the country in a close game while shooting under 50% free throws. Kansas, OSU, TTU, Texas coming up next. Lets say 3-1 in this stretch and the Cyclones are going 5-2 into a home game against Kansas. Any game we can steal from KU, MU, BU is a bonus IMO. Season isn't over....

Have you ever witnessed where the crowd WILLED THE TEAM TO A WIN?!
The crowd didn't miss free throws, get blown by for layups or not block out. We're you even there?
Our crowds just seem to sit way to much and get loud enough like in the old days and I think its because of Cyclone alley put the students elsewhere to be more effective.

That sums it up perfectly.
I thought we played hard and battled, but we were just sloppy and Missouri wasn't.
1. We missed WAY too many FT's. If that doesn't improve, we may not go .500 in the league. Does Fred even teach FT shooting to Royce? Seriously, he has to lead the nation in airball FT's.
2. Too many careless turnovers in the last 5 minutes. We tried to make the great play too many times and turned it over, while Missouri just played good solid offense.
3. Our offense isn't as good as Missouri's. As they were getting layups, we were launching bad 3's. That goes on Fred IMO. What kind of offense do we run?
Overall, not a bad night. We played hard and had a chance to win the game. Frustrating we were so close and shot so poorly from the FT line.

I have witnessed multiple games where the crowd willed the team to a W. Got to watch Fred play for 3 yrs. If u have not experienced it u may not understand where the posters expectations are coming from. I suggest u get ur entire section/alley to GET LOUD.....and not occasionally, consistently. When that happens u may be surprised by the result.
I wasn't born yet.. but.. OSU basketball game at home... the freakin floor was shaking!
