Love this team. Favorite part is that basically every game the guy who carries us the game prior goes cold and someone else steps up. Grill carries us against Creighton and doesn’t score tonight. But gives good minutes, no mistakes, forces nothing. Doesn’t care - just wants to win. Everyone contributes somehow. Not sure I’ve ever watched a team that is this consistently unselfish.

we probably win by 30 if Gabe could hit any of those wide open looks.

think Iowa is decent, but our defense completely took them off their game. Brockington on Murray to start looks like a really good decision. Guy is no threat if he can’t even get the ball. 3s don’t fall and Murray bottled up = zero offense for them.

oh, and thanks for the memz, Jorbo.

Were the students chanting "Overrated" at Iowa? At one point it sounded like "4 more years" at Bohanon.

This is a new era of NCAA bball. There are transfers everywhere. A team of 6 transfers and a freshman can be awesome!

The trick is getting them to play together and put team above self. TJ has done it with this group.

Even when the guys aren’t scoring they’re providing positive things everywhere else. Jones gets some grief on here but he got O Rebs and drew fouls. Played some straight up D that caused altered shots. I do think he needs to bank every free throw attempt, though.

Brockington plays harder than any cyclone i've seen in recent memory. Hunter has no stop to his motor either. Brockington is so much like a Dustin Hogue.
Agreed, but with much more talent. Senior Ejim is a good comp.

I'll admit I'm still a little stunned at how good we've been. But the resume speaks for itself...how could anyone think this team is four games sub-.500 in the Big 12, even if the league is loaded?
Part of the problem is just how good the Big 12 is. We just caught the middle teams now in Kenpom. West Virginia is 48 and 7th. Plus still early in the year so will stabilize/work itself here as we get closer to conference play.
