Chris Kingsbury. Him versus JorBo would be the ultimate douche off.

Conner had potential but he is only a shell of his former self.

McCabe for a while but he redeemed himself when he told hoks to **** off

And his delivery drivers are freaky fast!

Was out to dinner on Saturday and one of the people is a major Iowa fan and made the comment "Well I see ISU finally beat Iowa in something." He then says "I didn't even see a minute of the game and didn't even know it was going on." In my mind I thinking BS, you knew it was going on, that is just your excuse. I moved on to something else because I really wasn't in the mood to get into a pixxing match with him.

Amazing how when we win, their fans find every excuse to dismiss the game.

My 80 year old ISU Alum dad text me.

“This is the best help defense I’ve ever seen by Iowa State.”

he’s a basketball aficionado.
That is some perspective right there. I was quite young when Maury John got to Ames, with his 'belly button' defense. This ISU version looks better than that.

Sigh. So sad what happened to Maury. Wish he could have been at ISU until he wanted to retire. Unfortunately throat CA (he was a non-smoker) took him too soon at age 55 in 1974. But then we wouldn't have had Johnny Orr about 7 years later, Jeff Grayer, Hornacek, etc, etc. Our past is what it is I guess.

I have a lot to say but the most important thing is that I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team play as hard as these guys. They are just warriors. There have been great players here that I love but I don’t think any of them have played half as hard as this team does. I’ve never seen a group as exhausted as these guys were.
It's a paradox really. How hard this team works, the effort, the grind. How much and how hard they work for their coach and each other.

Working into and thru pain, because they love their coach and fellow players. I'm glad to see it paying off.

This guy should be playing at the YMCA, not in the Big Ten. He literally broke his ankle.

Gotta give George credit here. This was not a foul! Should have drawn the charge for sure, ala Kunc!

Unfortunately George will have to play more conservative until he gets the fouling under control.

I think ‘J Bo’ has supplanted Jeff Moe as the most hated Hawkeye ever. And I didn’t think that was possible.
I seriously hadn't thought of Jeff Moe in 30 years until you brought him up recently. I live in Iowa City and attended the City High vs West High basketball double-header at City High on Friday night. An ugly, angry looking guy walks in with a woman towards the end of the girl's game and sits at the end of the row we were in. My buddy says, "Hey, Jeff Moe just sat in our row - do you remember him?".

It turns out Jeff Moe has a son who plays for West High, and he's the spitting image of the young Jeff Moe. I'll not say anything negative about a HS sophomore, other than his court presence also mimics that of his father.

My buddy next asks me if I'm aware of Moe's criminal record, which I'm not because I haven't thought of him in 30 years. He evidently owns a scummy strip club in Indy and choked a city councilperson in a dispute over liquor license renewals.

Now I have to rethink Jorbo being the most hated Hok ever, as Jeff Moe was unlikable as a player and grew up to be even more reprehensible!
