Serious question to those that won’t tolerate any comments about coaching.

At what point does the regression of a team over the course of a season indicate coaching issues? Ever?

Have we regressed? Or have we been inconsistent all year?

Who should we hire? Hint—the only possibility isn’t TJ.

25 million is pennies in terms of facilities.
It will be nice when they create a better food selection and environment. People can spend more time there than watching this product. Maybe toss in a couple hundred 80 inch TVs so if we do make it a game people can go back to their seats.

Prohm has his work cut out for him. This was a bad basketball team today in every facet.

No idea what is going on behind the scenes, but today was a real bad sign.

I appreciate your post, as it's accurate, and objective. Much better than the "fire Prohm" statements, which add nothing.

Prohm should be left in Austin, getting blown out by an NIT team without their best player is completely inexcusable. If we are lucky enough to even get a 5 or 6 seed in the tourney, the lower seed is salivating at playing these scrubs in the first round.
Same group that wanted Rhoads to stay
Maybe you idiots should just stay away from dogging the players. Saying someone sucks, is wrong and gets you disqualified as a fan. Critique all you want, the guys did not play well, but stop disparaging the young men that do nothing but try to make you proud. They don't play bad on purpose. You need to understand the line, and not cross it or go find a team that doesn't lose often.

This is my team, those are my boys and if you're going to talk bad about any of them, you're going to hear from me and the rest of the real fans. God help your family or children with the way some of you deal with adversity.

Just to put this in perspective for us, 15-25 from three eclipses anything Hoiball could offer in conference play.

The trend of this team is not good if we're looking ahead. There are still all the pieces (assuming the Lard suspension is short term) that made us think they could make a run but we do not respond well to adversity.....at all!

Prohm has a lot of coaching to do to earn his salary these last couple of weeks, because love him or hate him, we are underachieving right now.

They certainly haven't ascended and losses like today aren't something you can just say 'Well they played well, just not their day'.

People calling for a coaching change are off base although if it's similar next year, it's legit.

Injuries and suspensions hurt but honestly there doesn't seem to be a plan for an identity and the last major sport where that was the case was CPR.

People comparing this to Rhoads is laughable... Am I happy with the way the team played today and on some of our other losses? Absolutely No!... however, I am not melting down either. Since Prohm been here his teams tend to peak in March, this is the first year that it might not happen... there is still time to go on a good post-season run, so I’ll support the team and continue to hope for it to happen.

We have absolutely regressed and I didn’t say a thing about a coaching change, but there are serious issues with this team and it doesn’t always boil down to, “Prohm can’t make the shots for them”.

Texas shot 60% from 3 today. Tip your cap to an incredibly hot shooting night and move on. Iowa state is 2-16 all time in Austin, so it takes a great performance for us to win there. I’d almost want Texas to pass us so we don’t play BU in the first round of the big 12 tourney haha.

I can’t understand why anyone would not think a lot of what happened today was poor coaching leading up to and during the game. Of course Prohm will say it’s on him after the game like he always does, and then every thing will be just fine with most fans

There's a group of posters that will attack other posters any time they post anything that isnt pumping sunshine. The same kind of posters that defended McDermott until the day he left. Hilton would have to be a smoldering crater before things ever got 'bad enough' for them.
TBF, there's a group of posters who believe that fans that support the team until the end of the game, then end of the season, are the problem with this team.

Do you think CSP should be fired now?

Most of us that defend him are just as stumped at why we don't try 2 bigs in at the same time. Most of us wonder why we didn't utilize more players throughout the year. Most of us wonder why we can't execute offensive set plays or out of bounds better. Most of us know plenty about basketball. It's just that most of us realize that we don't know what is going on in the practice facility. And I say that with very good connections.

Frankly this team has exceeded our expectations when Shayok plays to his average, and been below expectations when he struggles.

Coaches have figured out they just need to put our freshmen and Wigginton in rotations and we can't defend. Got away with it early in the year but as soon as the film piled up...

Can we not act like those were a fluke?

You leave those shots that open that consistently and theyre going to make a lot of them.

Its not like they were hitting wild contested shots.
