Well just a terrible game all around save for Conditt. It happens. Go back to work and need to get a win at WVU. No way to really defend it.

I think what is hard for people is they way we have lost games this year.. going from winning the league to 5-7 seed in the b12 tourney. And to a possible 8 or need seed in the tourney. All in 2 weeks

We are still top 20 in NET.

I'm an eternal optimist. And games like this really wear on me. But I can never come on here and whine because there is already too much negativity on here. I always believe that guys on the team come on here to read what was said and it adds more to the pressure/negativity.

I wish I could whine once in a while.

Dropping down to help the bigs on defense has killed us all year. At some point, Prohm is going to have to leave the bigs on an island more often.

This is the achilles heel of the 4 guard lineup. You have to drop down to double (often triple) the post when the get the ball down low. That leaves shooters WIDE open. We seem to do that often. When we play teams with a legit post scoring threat and they're hitting their 3's, it's tough to win.

Why does it make you a better poster not to be upset by this? Im honestly curious. we are getting run of the court by texas. but to be upset by it makes you a drama queen or a worse iowa state fan than those that thinks the level of play has been ok or apparently isn't worried about it?

There's a group of posters that will attack other posters any time they post anything that isnt pumping sunshine. The same kind of posters that defended McDermott until the day he left. Hilton would have to be a smoldering crater before things ever got 'bad enough' for them.
