ps, I'm sure someone has given this to you by now. I subscribe all year long now (monthly), as a way to 'donate' to ISU AD. Even though with some games I don't use it at all (if on TV), and even though I only use it for FB and BB seasons. It all goes to ISU, I think.

So for our game, does anyone think we pressure the Iowa offense early by blitzing early? Or since Iowa may be expecting that, they will counter with short throws; resulting in us not blitzing and forcing Petra’s to beat us with his arm?
Why would you blitz a qb that can't hit the broad side of a barn? SDSU was able to get pressure bringing 3 or 4. I expect the same.
Probably should or at least shade/threaten it to get Iowa guessing.
Should also get Hutchinson outside on the 3rd level early to do the same.
There's no reason not to.

Sloppy? how much rain has fallen (it hasn’t yet, correct?)? How much do you expect to fall in the second half?

It won’t be “sloppy” at all. A light rain on field turf is a complete non-event. They will keep the ball as dry as possible and the field will act just fine.

You need to turn this into a good deed. When I was at Iowa State I had a fraternity brother who, for real, raised some money for a charity. I can't remember which one. But what he did was he took pledges for each beer he could drink during the game. He had a t-shirt made up and called it, "Drink for those who can't." It was legendary.
