Just one last thought to tack on here…
I found myself wondering what beating Cincinnati might mean in terms of recruiting Ohio. We haven’t been doing that so much lately—not since Cincy started grabbing the second tier prospects we were after a couple years ago.
Indeed, though we have a current commit from Ohio, it looks there were only a small handful of offers out for that state this recruiting cycle—maybe three?
And the ‘25 class isn’t much better, despite Ohio being a hugely talent rich state.
So I find myself wondering. After this win on the road in Cincy, are we going to start to see more offers going out to ‘25 kids again? Like maybe even shortly?
