I don’t think so. Technically the ball was made ready for TCU (when it shouldn’t have) so I think it would have been an illegal substitution for ISU. It doesn’t matter after all since ISU took a timeout but just a weird situation.

Frame it like this, Campbell came from a size of school where culture generating better players was enough to win championships. That’s a great piece of the puzzle. Unfortunately more is required to win in the big12
