Minus the part where Cook is damn near an automatic two points right now. THT isn't big enough to compete with him and if THT isn't doing anything offensively to offset his defense you're hurting. .

I thought we should have had Mike on Cook; you're right he's eating up the lane. and he starts his dribble from 12-ft ?@? That's not hard to stop

Jacobson is defensively lost against a bigger, stronger guy. Conditt doesn't have enough experience or size to compete.

Yep, and if Cook scores like he has been, and Moss was having an average game, ISU's up, what, 10?

This is a strange phenomenon that affects ISU basketball where a player who never does **** goes off for a career game when he plays us. I've seen it more times than I care to think about.

I agree if you are talking about playing Iowa in basketball.

I was pleased we got the bonus fouls first. That's a shocker; hope we can keep that up in 2nd half, but have a feeling Iowa will force FT ball offense

It’s aggression when it’s good and heroball when it’s bad. You NEED aggressive guys on offense or can’t attack a sound defense at all.

Yes but the bad is blatantly obvious. You can tell when Shayok is hell bent on taking the ball no matter what and it’s going to end badly. Its when’s he lowers his head and starts to dribble outside the 3 pt line. It’s maddening, Even Prohm has mentioned he needs to get better at some shot selections, and everyone can point to the exact specific plays he’s referring to.

Lard plays 2 minutes. Jacobson gets in foul trouble. Conditt comes in over him and plays the rest of the half. He will transfer. You could see him clearly frustrated when Conditt went to check in.

If he's going to be successful in bball and life he's going to need to learn to deal with frustration. That's what this whole thing has been about.

I actually don't feel too bad about this. With the defense MIA and Moss channeling Steph Curry they're lucky to be down only seven and still in the ballgame. I think we'll see a better defensive effort in the second half.
