We started pretty well - just gotta go back to looking inside & not settling for 3s. Also, we've had a few open looks (3s and inside shots) that have gone in and out. Unfortunately, as many have stated, Moss is shooting out of his mind. Here's hoping he and Cook pull a Uthoff and disappear in the 2nd period. Also, I was really ticked when NWB fouled Jorbo for no apparent reason. You send a great FT shooter to the line & it's automatic 2 points & that gave Iowa back some momentum just after we had cut the lead to 3. Those little things need to be attended to (details, details) in order for us to come back and win this game.

I actually don't feel too bad about this. With the defense MIA and Moss channeling Steph Curry they're lucky to be down only seven and still in the ballgame. I think we'll see a better defensive effort in the second half.

And if not, flush it and on to the next.

So the guy sitting on the sidelines in a suit the last game for Iowa is out there tonight taking flops and getting into fights in their Super Bowl. Sounds about right.

Yes but the bad is blatantly obvious. You can tell when Shayok is hell bent on taking the ball no matter what and it’s going to end badly. Its when’s he lowers his head and starts to dribble outside the 3 pt line. It’s maddening, Even Prohm has mentioned he needs to get better at some shot selections, and everyone can point to the exact specific plays he’s referring to.

Oh yeah I totally agree. He doesn’t see the floor when he drives. He’s just not a good passer. I just don’t think it’s hero ball. He’s just not good at those things.
