Great win.

You can all thank me for turning it off when they went down 8 after halftime. I had losing stank on me today and yes I am superstitious.

It's going to depend on Baylor's execution. If they move the ball side to side and stay away from the baseline, the have the talent to beat our defense. If the ball gets sticky and we force them into spots we like, we will be fine.

I wouldn't say it didn't matter. That's three wins against a top-3 seed in the NCAA Tournament, including on the road and neutral.
That will pad the resume!!

It really is a problem and it's not just lacking 'ball handlers'. Several times it's like guys aren't even paying attention, with teams showing press and guys have to come back from midcourt. We are also slow making 'the first move'. The worst things you can do against the press is holding the ball or hugging the sideline. Several times Jaz should have taken a dribble or two, then gotten rid of the ball immediately.

Our MO seems to be 'wait until we are trapped' before doing something. It's maddening to watch.
You're fun

Great, gritty win by the Cyclones. I expected Baylor to regress to the mean from 3 in the 2nd half with they (somewhat) did. But did not see at 44-17 advantage on the boards (w/20 ORebs!!!!) coming. Lipsey w/13 pts 11 Rebs and 5 assists is totally on brand for Oztelball 2022-23.
