Recruit players that already have that skill and continue to develop. Also like kids who lead and win at a high level in high school.
What post player would want to come play for this coaching staff though? They've developed and gotten guards to the NBA, but not a lot of post players that you can hang your hat on.
As the other thread talked about bringing in old players, what we need is someone like Jackson Vroman to come in and teach post moves. This is the biggest glaring weakness of the Prohm era is lack of post scoring development. Bring in an assistant that can teach these guys some moves to get buckets and fouls. Get an offensive weapon on the interior and the outside shooting becomes so much easier.
Rebounders and defenders are the team‘s greatest needs. Until those issues are addressed, each game is going to be an uphill battle, even when their outside shots are dropping like today. The current staff just isn't able to teach these things, and it has been a very big thorn in the side of this program for the past few seasons. Rebounding goes along with it. Just really wish Prohm would have made an assistant change to address this. I think it could have made a big difference. A team can't be successful in P5 with no inside abilities. And that doesn't mean a getting a big 7-ft dude. It means the ability of everyone to finish when they get to the hoop, and draw fouls to get to the line.

He would have definitely helped today, although I would not classify him as a post player, despite his size.Xavier Foster.
Is this a bad joke?

“Someone like”@jcisuclones , you do real Jackson is dead, right?
wait, you thought fred would stay here forever, you probably don’t.
I assume he meant "like" a Jackson Vroman, someone tall with lots of post moves to pass on to these younger guys
