Only 5 assists on 12 baskets for ISU.....below normal. Got pick up the team play better in the 2nd half and Thomas and Long need to pick it up from outside. At least KSU cooled off a bit from there. KSU has some foul problems too if ISU can exploit that. Not out of this by any means. Just need to play ISU ball.

Not so fast my friend! I had a double double with 3 minutes left in the half.

Dear Blind People,

I want to open doors for you. Will you just know if I am holding the door open and walk right through? Or do I need to give you a verbal cue?

Signed,

That wasn't a clear flagrant at all. Traditionally, that's what every team/fanbase expects to see when an opponent goes strong to the basket. It looked worse because it's two fast guys and Kane excels at dramatic reactions to hard fouls.

Good tough game so far. About what anyone could really expect so far. It'll be a close one all the way through.

I would have been happier if they had at least looked at it. We've seen that all year on far softer collisions than that .

Naz is a great shooter at home. Not away. Need him to turn that around before tourney time.

The halftime reaction in this thread is reminiscent of the KU game in Ames.

To be fair 4 or 5 of those were steals and solo run outs or offensive rebound put backs.

I hope for this every game it rarely happens, but ISU needs an extremely strong start to the second half. It doesn't have to be a 14-2 run, but at least don't allow it to get back to double digit deficit.
I could live with a 14-2 run, though.

If Naz or Matt want to make some 3's, that would be just swell.

I don't get you guys. Just because the guy happened to get a hand on the ball then all the rest of the contact doesn't count? The guy absolutely hammered Kane and drove him into the basket extension after hitting him across the face and shoulder. I have seen a lot worse, but there is no excuse for the refs not looking at it again.

Also, someone block out.

I don't understand why people are ****** about it. Yes it was a hard foul. He also put the ball in the front row on the block. Bodies in the air that collide are going to look bad.

The elbow attached to the arm that blocked the ball went through Kane's face to get there. Sorry you're too blind to notice.

I love Kane most of the time, but some of us need to be more honest on here. Kane is a drama queen and while he doesn't flop like Smart, he makes small things into a big deal. AND sometimes when he's being a drama queen on the floor we're playing 4 on 5 on the other end, he needs to suck it up. All that said, if he played for KU he'd have 18 points a game from free throwing (still shooting 63%).
