I am too lazy to turn on the oven so I usally microwave my Totino's pizza or eat it still frozen. The taste/quality remains unaffected.

Not exactly sure.
Where is everyone? This is the slowest one I've seen. At least there are no feces fetishes today.

I confess I'm still hoping for a KU-MIzzou final.

Agreed. Especially after watching Jacoven Brown's reactions several times last night. I know its only because he was making great plays against my team, but I hate him now. And I really want Mizzou to beat the **** out of them today just to prove to me that they really aren't that good of a team.

Alright so a few weeks, some friends and I are at the pool hall at 1 am in the morning. One of friend starts to rack'em when this black lesbian couple walks in. We anyways a we play a few games of pool. So at 1 am in the morning it's just the employees, my friends and I, and this black couple. I decided to play some music from the jukebox. The first song I play is Here's to the Night by Eve 6, and the second song I choose is Closing Time by Semisonic.

I have one credit left, and earlier in the night one my friends played Sweet Home Alabama at another bar, and therefore I had a really hankering to listen to Song of the South by Alabama. So I choose that one as my third and final song. When Song of South comes over the speakers, I didn't occur to me how racist/discriminatory that may have been, but my smart-*** friend let me know right away. Now that wasn't my intended purpose, but is my subconscious really trying tell me that I'm racist?

Song of the South is racist? More likely wholly accurate.

Long time listener, first time confessor.

Yesterday was my birthday:v_SPIN:, and the loss completely ruined my "gift" from the wife.

Mine was yesterday too. :( Made for a low ending for such an otherwise great day. While not the "gift", I'm sure, you're talking about, she did get me season tickets for ISU football.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Song of the South just sucks.

"Sweet potato pie and I shut my mouth" has to be one of the worst lyrics of all time, right next to "I'm a big, big girl in a big, big world".

I used to have a slovenly Purple Hawk coworker who would crank that in our office every friday afternoon, and sing along to it, while he wore half of his lunch on his shirt.

The Border War will be better on a 50 pt. blow out though.

Dont want to chance it, man.

I can confess that I keeping waffling between the glass is half full list and the glass is half empty lists below.

Glass Half Full
  • This team usually responds in a positive way following a poor performance.
  • We are still going to the Big Dance!
  • We have great talent returning next year
  • I didn't choose to miss my sons school program to drive to KC last night
  • I didn't spend several hundred dollars on tickets this weekend.
  • Percy Gibson has three more years
  • Royce White won't be departing for the NBA next year
  • Fred Hoiberg is our coach for years to come
  • I will still proudly wear all my Iowa State gear on a daily basis
  • I won't miss my other sons championship basketball game Saturday morning

Glass Half Empty
  • Tired of watching players turn to the refs whining about no calls...play the game....be stronger with the ball.
  • Chris Allen having those moments where he pouts during a game and just quits like it is a dead ball while play continues.
  • Scotty failing to get shots off....take the deep deep three if need be.
  • Bubu Palo got way too many minutes in this game.
  • Royce White's decision to launch a three at a critical time.
  • Facing the fact our chances of a deep run in the NCAA just became monumentally more difficult.
  • Being out coached

Eh, its not bad if you're in the right mood. Its a good "road trip after the bar at 3 am" kind of song. Kinda like Small Town Saturday Night

I was watching the game last night and with 2 or so minutes left we were tied or down 2, i looked over and my friend thats a girl, an ISU grad, has her face burried in her Ipad looking at shoes. I knocked it out of her hand and told her to pay attention or gtfo. And she left.

You do realize that the work your doing by putting it in the microwave, is about equal to putting it in the oven dont you?

I still can't ever like it thanks to that band wagon fat *** entitled (he only had a job there because of his brother, he was an awful employee) Purple Hawk.

I don't know if I would have liked it much anyway, but there is just no chance in hell now.

One of the reasons I prefer football season over basketball season is the fact that there are less opportunities for CF meltdowns when there is only 1 game a week for 12 weeks, versus all the games in a basketball season.

We've grown to expect losses in football vs. top teams.
