***Official Friday Confessions Thread***

Apparently we are all depressed from the game last night. We need to get this going, maybe it'll help cheer some of us up. Somebody hurry and tell a funny story.

i confess to leaving this here.

I confess that I called a UT fan a "mouthy slut" when she turned around to over-the-top brag about their win to a large crowd of ISU fans behind her.

I was probably paying her a compliment.

There were longhorn fans there?

I was watching the game last night and with 2 or so minutes left we were tied or down 2, i looked over and my friend thats a girl, an ISU grad, has her face burried in her Ipad looking at shoes. I knocked it out of her hand and told her to pay attention or gtfo. And she left.

There is a reason that your right hand is your current girlfriend.

I tried drowning my sorrows with beer last night. It just made me feel worse.
I did the same thing. We were trying to play a little euchre last night and it just wasnt happening. I wasnt getting crap for cards, isu was losing and the little buzz I had just made me wanna break the damn tv!

I enjoy listening to STYX. I think Come Sail Away is one of the greatest songs of all time. There I said, I finally have it off my chest.

It's people like you that make radio largely unlistenable.

I've always thought that - in the spirit of honesty in advertising - the record company should have been required to inserted the letter "N" between the Y and X.

REO Speedwagon, on the other hand...

I'm addicted to this "Draw Something" app.

Usually I just try to think of the most awkward way of drawing the words. I'd like to think my little works of art have made many random people laugh.

People like me? I largely do not listen to music on the radio. Most of my music listening consists of bands such as the The Turnpike Trubadores, Reckless Kelly, Casey Donahew Band, and music of that such. And they are never on the radio. I am just a fan of STYX, i suppose that is why it is a confession. Though from time to time a nice poppy song ain't half bad. Color me a commercial slave if you wish.

Last weekend my roommate's girlfriend had some friends come visit. All was well at first. They showed up up and there were a couple of lookers, which was great. Anyways we started chatting it up and I decided that she was a "sure thing". So I decided to celebrate and start taking shots. Next thing I know I wake up to find out that I had taken her to my room, but once we got there I passed out ***** on top of her. Then apparently I woke up ****** in my closet and safe to say she did not stay in my room.

I want to de-friend every person sharing that KONY video on my fb feed. And I judge the mental capacities of everyone who does.

Also, I am sick to death of being sick and it's making me cranky. I should not be entering my 14th day of having this stupid cold.

I find it ignorant that people get upset about others posting this video. I get that the organization has some questions about it, and I wouldn't donate money to them based on this, but I don't understand how making people aware of a mass murderer and wanting to get him behind bars is a bad thing.

to all of you complaining about how your significant other watching Iowa state Athletics or any other sporting event. it is SOOOO much better when Females are not around. they have no idea what is going on. and they cheer at stupid things, and ask why do you get so upset?

women are stupid

Anyone that disagrees with you is either a total wuss or married to a complete "female-dog"

I feel like I'm reading posts from my 19 year old self.

My mom worked for an EIU Alum who gave up his basketball tickets to us a lot when I was in high school (mid-90s)....and I went often as my sister was a big fan and I could drive down to the games. She was such a big fan, I used to hang out after the game so she could meat THE GREATS like Dean Oliver, Ryan Bowen, Ricky Davis, etc.

When she was a freshman, she lived one floor away from Pierre Pierce and talked about seeing him around a lot...I told her to stay away from him...then the "incident happened." She will still say she was thankful I told her to stay away from him.

OK, This may have been covered and it's not much of a confession but I just wanna ***** about something.

What the eff was up with the ISU cheerleaders last night? They didn't do ****. They just sat there the whole effing game. I didn't hear any effing cheers. No Defense chants. Nothing. I did get to hear and see UTs annoying cheer skanks the whole night though.

Seriously. Do they not have guys who do chants on the cheer squad any more? There were a TON more ISU fans there last night but they were outdone by a bunch of UT dudes with megaphones.

I'm just ticked in general about last night, but this in particular made me even more ticked off.

I was in the pep band for tournaments back in the day. If the cheer squad didn't start a chant, we did. It just seemed like 90% of the game the ISU fans sat on their hands. It was annoying as crap.

Oh, on a side note...one time she my sister (who then was in high school, me at ISU) visited, i took her to meet Ennis Haywood as he was a good pal of mine and she wanted to meet him. He was the nicest guy ever and knew she was a hok fan, and welcomed her with "Ladell Betts sucks" as the first thing out of his mouth..he then signed an ISU post card. "To Abby, Hawks Suck, Go Cyclones."

I would say my sister is now almost a 50/50 ISU/Hok fan, sometimes even more ISU. It's taken years (she's an alum of there too)....but we're getting there!
