Don't care how bad we beat the blue cats, I just hope Cam, Wiggy, and Solo can each get in at least 10 quality minutes.

Let's go with full fledged platoons. Weiler Babb/Lewis/Shayok/Jacobson/Conditt plays 5 minutes, replaced by Wiggy/Haliburton/THT/Young/Lard for 5 minutes. It worked for 2014 Kentucky.
That may have some merit given how many last minute additions we have before conference play. But Talley is in one of those lineups. Conditt and Lard can battle in practice for the 10th spot.

Babb/Lewis/Shayok/Talley/Jacobson

Haliburton/Wigginton/THT/Lard/Young

That 2nd lineup would be awful.

I don’t think THT will go to the bench, but LW, Shayok, and THT are all ball dominant guards. I’d think you’d try to rotate their bench minutes so 2 are always on the floor, but most of the time not all 3 at once.

The second lineup by design was supposed to be worse as that second group would be getting less minutes. I’d play the first group in 7 minute stretches and then the second group in 3 minute stretches. I don’t think Prohm will go with 2 different lineups though. He’ll probably just keep his best 6 getting the majority of the minutes and giving the 7-9 spots a few minutes.

Actually, it didn't. There's no way that team shouldn't have won the title.

I agree with you but let's be realistic. If we don't win by 30 tonight, hold them to < 50, see Lard get 20+ minutes, see LW score 35, have 20 assists between NWB and Haliburton and shoot > 40% from long range - season is over and there will be calls for CSP's head.

I think Prohm will roll with these 9 the rest of the season.

1. NWB
2. Wigginton
3. Shayok
4. THT
5. Jacobson
6. Haliburton
7. Young
8. Lewis/Talley
9. Talley/Lewis

Conditt and Lard could maybe get some minutes if Jacobson and Young are in foul trouble.

Unfortunately, EIU is Panthers. Southern Illinois is Salukis.

My ranking of Illinois directional schools nicknames:
1. Salukis (SIU)
2. Leathernecks (Western Ill)
3. Panthers (EIU)
4. Huskies (Northern Ill)

I'd probably swap panthers and huskies.

Up until 2010 the WIU women's teams were known as the Westerwinds because, you know, women can't be marines.
