Zeb with early for a commitment.

@jakeweingarten 2020 four-star Zeb Jackson will announce his commitment tomorrow at 2pm, i’ll have it here.

Not so fast....

@jakeweingarten Jackson discussed with his family and have decided to not commit tomorrow. Has no rush only entering junior year. The highly touted guard, one of the most underrated in the country. Zeb being heavily recruited by UVA, Purdue, OSU, Butler, etc.

@jakeweingarten In addition, his recruitment process will continue and is open. Will be highly touted guard this season. Will see his ranks rise on all outlets.

Makes sense he is rising in the rankings he should take his time, Not to mention any program that he would have committed to would have had to sweat out a de-commit for a full year.

His dad was 6'1, maybe? Trying to remember, but if he gets to his dad's height, and has his dad's level of game, that will work.

His game is a little different. Mike was ultra competitive. I have not seen that in Bowen yet. May be just young and has not shown it. It would be awesome to get a legacy recruit if he grows and can play like Mike.

Yeah, I haven't seen a ton of his game, other than watching most of a game against Indianola. I just don't think size is going to be the deciding factor as he's listed at 5'11" and has two years to grow. Definitely needs to fill out too, but I'm assuming he's going to work on that.

That 5'11 is a huge stretch to be honest. I would say 5'9 possibly 5'10. I have seen him several times. I go to the Norwalk games. It's actually a lot more fun to watch Tyler Endres play center. Kid is 6'6 320 pounds and kids just bounce off him. To bad he is a Hawk commit.

Jayden Stone is a name to monitor. Good programs are tracking the 3 star.

Stone began his emergence in the spring and finally broke out in July with the Team Carroll travel program. A 6-foot-3 junior who can play either guard position, Stone impacts the game in so many ways. His feel and intellect is second to none.

The native of Australia has been in the United States for over a year now, and he is just beginning to see his recruitment take off. While he still remains under the radar some, Iowa State, Michigan, Auburn and UNC are just a few of the many that have begun to show serious interest in the four-star junior. A potential visit is in the works for UNC, as Stone looked the part of a player who could be a super-versatile perimeter standout at the college level.

Internview with Jayden Stone, kid has some confidence.
https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/interest-rising-in-three-star-point-guard-jayden-stone

"Jayden Stone's recruitment has begun to pick up steam, and for good reason. A 6-foot-3 combo guard that can complete a number of tasks in the backcourt, Stone was a top performer at last weekend's On the Radar Hoops Super 64 event.

The three-star prospect has emerged as a must-get for some of the nation's top programs. He told Rivals.com that North Carolina, Michigan, Auburn, Iowa State and Vanderbilt are in contact with him the most.

Iowa State: “They love the way that I play. I am a great athlete, I am young for my grade level and they just want for me to come up there. They are actually supposed to come down and see me this week so that will be good.”

SIAP. Jayden Stone highlights.

Can definitely see why he's getting attention from big programs. Really strong on the dribble drive, especially to his left but showed good handle with both sides. Seems to finish well even thru contact. A pretty nice shot and has deep range. A little slower shot on some of those deep 3's, but same form and they're dead on. He's excited about NC and Michigan... so it'll be interesting to see if we can stay in play for him as he gets more national attention. Definitely a kid I'd want in cardinal and gold.

Anyone know where we are at with him? Or is it just a mention at this point
