Not really I have seen western Kentucky and some others listed before
That threshold, I mean. Western Kentucky has brought in some big names in the past few classes, whether they actually played for them or not. I think WKU is a bit of an outlier in that sense.

I was only meaning that a Houston type team is as low as you'd find, for a ~top 30 player. Stony Brook or a Davidson or a Winthrop is very rarely in the fold towards the end on these types of guys.

Interesting in-depth interview with Drew Timme who has 30 offers (ISU being 1 of them). He his holding his recruiting very close to the vest to the point coaches are in the dark. He is very open to all offers at this point and he'll likely be a spring commit.

https://www.cbssports.com/college-b...d-got-30-schools-to-chase-him-into-late-july/

"Timme's style on and off the floor is out of step with most top-level basketball prospects. Normally the recruitment and coverage of a top-50 player is well established by the time they finish up their grassroots career in the July before their senior year of high school. But with Timme, a four-star recruit who's set to finally disclose his list of schools/finalists in the coming week, it's been a puzzle to solve for coaches and recruiting analysts alike over the course of the 2018 recruiting circuit.

"You've got all these programs recruiting this kid, and nobody knows where anybody else stands," one high-major coach said."

I am sure Timme a long shot for ISU at this point but then again it is very up in the air and the type of play he wants would fit Prohm's system very well.

Did Timme give a date on when he was announcing his cut "list of finalists"? I didn't see it mentioned in there .

A top 10 was mentioned. Just didn't see a date. He doesn't have 45 schools who have offered him, kn.

No date was given the article just stated he hoped December, which is after the early signing period in November.

"Timme said he realistically hopes to make a commitment by early December."

Interesting. I saw in the article "But with Timme, a four-star recruit who's set to finally disclose his list of schools/finalists in the coming week, it's been a puzzle to solve for coaches" so I figured it was sooner than that. But makes sense why no date was mentioned.
