Anyone know why there hasn't been any interest from ISU?

Totally grasping at straws here.....but by any chance could we have heard he grew up a hawkeye fan and being from eastern Iowa we didn't think it was worth our time?? Not saying it always works that way, don't get me wrong. Assume its possible with some recruits tho...like Connor/Patrick McCaffrey, Gesell, Woodbury, Pemsl, etc. Come to think of it, when have we ever had a recruit we went after that was in extreme Eastern Iowa???

LA Pomlee was a nice kid and just never developed. He was considered a five star recruit his freshman year of high school. Much like peter jok his ranking kept slipping from lack of developement.

Being from the conference I used to watch him and being from Muscatine, I know Weiskamp. He is a very good BB player and extremely nice kid whom I hope has a great career at Iowa. The rest of their team is another matter . . .

From what I've heard the kid is a pretty strong Wisconsin lean at the moment. Could change if he continues to pick up offers from bigger schools though.

Iowa is in good shape with Carton, I wouldnt even call Wisky the leader right now

His grandpa played at Iowa. Sounds like he is going to come for an unofficial on Saturday before Iowa leaves for their trip to Europe.

No decision is expected from him for quite a while it sounds like.

Where is anyone seeing a lean? I admittedly don't know much about him, but from what I've read there doesn't seem to be a favorite one way or the other. Curious as to where you guys have read this

I dont think there is a favorite at this point but Iowa likes where they sit with him.

Prior to the Iowa offer, Wisky was definitely the leader but that gap has been closed from what I have read.

There is a poster on HR that is from Bettendorf that knows the family.

Oh great, yet another legacy recruit Fran can back into. I swear, 3/4 of their team every year is home grown hawkeye fans and legacy players. He even lucked out with Jok, who was ours to lose at one point.

He lucked out because we screwed up and had to fix it, that wasn't a Fran recruiting thing. But to your post, has it really mattered?

Interesting. I thought he looked decent in his videos, but didn't realize that he was going to really blow up like he has. Good for him.

He has really piled up the offers in the last 2 weeks or so and more appear to be coming.

He has said he doesnt anticipate making a decision until probably a year from now.
