I'm guessing if he doesn't end up in Ames (assuming he gets offered) he ends up out of state.

What makes you think he has a better shot at ending up in Ames than Iowa City? Not saying you're wrong, but I thought I had seen Wiscy and Iowa were the early likely landing spots for Carton

If you're a PG it would make no sense to choose Fran over Prohm unless you grew up a Hawkeye fan or you want to be a Doctor or Lawyer after college.

I don't think Fran recruits PG's, not sure Gazelle and JorBo count.

Older videos but he seems pretty skilled for a young 6'8 kid still developing his game. He can score off the dribble, in the post, and knock down perimeter shots. He doesn't appear to be an out of this world athlete, but if he continues to grow and get stronger his 7 foot wing span will help him as an interior defender and post player.

Looks like he has, dare I say, an old man YMCA game

I think what I bolded is why Fran has fallen into some of his better recruits (Uthoff, Weiskamp). My generation has produced the parents of these recruits. It is the generation of the 80s-90s when Hok football was in its heydey. These people are still living in that era! The brainwashing of these Hok fans is VERY strong - so Fran has a good chance with any strong in-state basketball recruits if their parents are avid Hok fans.

Short update with Luke Anderson. As with most of Prohm's recruits getting in early before the recruiting blow up.

"I have offers from Iowa State, Kansas State, South Florida, Florida Gulf Coast, North Florida, Old Dominion, Arkansas State, and Florida International," Anderson told HoopSeen.com.
"Notre Dame, South Carolina, Florida State, Penn, Rice, Samford, Princeton, Dayton, USC, and Central Florida are showing interest," Anderson explained.

Iowa State: "Their fan base is crazy big. They were at almost all my games this summer, too. It's a Big 12 school."
