Not very surprising, seems like we got in too late. Hopefully we can get Tandy.

I'm guessing he'll end up a Hoosier

I never got the feeling that Prohm was all in on recruiting DJ and had already has prioritized other top level PG's this past year. I even posted at the time that the offer surprised me.
Glad that DJ didn't just keep ISU in the picture just because of the home state appearance. No reason to waste either parties time. Good luck to him where ever he lands (in the Big 10) .

I'm just glad he cut us early so we don't have to spend anymore time on a guy we were never going to get. I agree with the above poster that said Prohm never really tried to put his best foot forward. I think Prohm offered to maybe keep in good standing with Iowa High School and AAU coaches.

Well, I guess I should say seriously recruiting him. They don't do that until a kid is very highly ranked.

UK also just got a commitment from one of their top guard prospects from '19 this week, Maxey. There is a slight chance he could reclassify to 18, though he has said that isn't in his plans and wants to be a HS senior. He's already penciled in a day one starter next year.
KyKy has already indicated he doesn't want to not a place where he isn't a top priority and have a early role. While I would never count Calipari out in recruiting, I am more concerned with other schools in regards to Tandy. I do expect KyKy to raise in the rankings though through the summer and be the level that KU will take.
