I

Why didn't he sign when we had 4 open ones?
Could be wrong, but I think Halliburton signed before Harris could. It was one or the other I believe.
No speculation, and I’m not sure how it would work, but Harris will be a legit scorer at the collegiate level, would live to see him in cardinal and gold.

lol, I didn’t answer your question. Maybe he wanted to visit other schools first. After all his visits maybe he realized ISU was the best option, but we were full already.

Harris could have signed after his official visit in September well before Haliburton. It was a mild surprise he didn't considered the mutual interest at the time.

Haliburton jumped on the opportunity to be the PG in the class and committed earlier than expected a month later. The staff must not have been entirely convinced that Harris would be a Cyclone because over the summer Harris was the priority.

Personally I believe Harris and Haliburton (with his size) could play in the same back court, if a scholarship spot opened up in the spring and would be pleased to add Tyler to the class.

He is not coming here without a scholarship
Gee, really?

The quote was “If he wants to join you take him IMO”. In the literal sense of that post, if he wants to join it’s irrelevant if he has a scholarship. In the implied and realistic meaning of the post, you make room. So either way the “not without a scholly” is amiss.

The majority of your posts seem to be of the semantic polemics variety

Way up there
I'd love to have TH, not sure the schollie situation will work out though. Haliburton should have no impact, currently we start two PG's but neither of them play PG. With Prohm as HC, as far as guards, just get the most talent here possible, he'll figure out how to use them.

With the emergence of Babb, I don't see us taking Harris any more. Especially if Wigginton can keep improving on-ball. If he grows into a legit ball handling PG, then I think we'll move on from Harris.

Babb will be gone after next year, thus easing Tyler or another PG into the role and having them ready to play as a sophomore would actually be ideal.
Additionally Tyler is a scoring PG, especially a good outside shooter, the class could use one of those especially with this being D-Jax's last year.
