Don't move the target.
Don’t miss next time.

If TH wants to join the program, you welcome him imo. Babb is a senior next year and with Jackson graduating there will be minutes available for another guard that can handle and shoot. I don’t think we know enough if that’s one of the fall signees or TH. I’d love to add another guard to the competition.

I'd still love to have him.

Might requiring a gray-shirt on somebody's part (and likely Harris at this point) or moving somebody to a walk-on (and likely Jacobson, I would guess).

I would not want to lose anybody that we have.

Everybody we have has shown at least flashes, if not more.

Got to be a way to make it work if all parties really want it, though.

The odds of Harris gray-shirting or someone giving up their scholarship for him are next to zero.

With the emergence of Babb, I don't see us taking Harris any more. Especially if Wigginton can keep improving on-ball. If he grows into a legit ball handling PG, then I think we'll move on from Harris.

Babb's gone after next year. Wigginton may be too if he is able to prove himself quickly enough. With Harris and Halliburton as sophomores (and Halliburton having the size to play the 2 or 3 as needed, I don't think that's terribly overloaded, even if Wigginton stays. Heck, you could run three guards and play them all. Four guard line up with THT or Griffin.

I don’t know if this is the case with TH, but if a recruit is good enough to be in the rotation the staff will make room.

Looking at this years squad, the group you talked about could be pretty similar. Wouldn't be a surprise to see Harris in a Donovan Jackson role playing off the ball with Haliburton at PG a la NWB.

It will be tough for both those guys to make it into the lineup together.

Assuming Wiggy stays for his JR year we'd have Wigginton, THT, Griffin, Lard and Young competing for at least 2-5 if not possible being the starting 5. I really believe THT and Griffin are going to be primary scorers for this team from their second year on. I think even if LW does leave early for the league backcourt minutes are going to be at a premium.

Wigginton isn't going to leave early for the NBA unless he shows that he can play point guard. He doesn't have the size to be a 2 in the NBA.

You never know when a player like him might take a leap forward but I'll bet he's here 4 years.

He's with the right coach to develop as a point.

Who knows, as It’s not uncommon for guys that aren’t ready to leave early.

I hope he stays at least 3 years, he needs the time with Prohm. I think having multiple lead guards on the floor at once is optimal, if not needed, so adding someone like TH would be nice. That would be a killer combo with Wigginton and Halliburton

Just got done watching a live stream of Simeon and Talen Horton-Tucker. They won 54-50. My take on Horton-Tucker:

He was matched up with NC State commit Jericole Hellems. Hellems is a 6-6 SF ranked #100 but Rivals. Good test for THT.

Love Horton-Tucker's game so much. He does it all. He was making 3's, getting to the hoop, dropping dimes, getting rebounds and taking charges. He finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Had multiple shots rim in and out. Could have easily went for 30+. He's very smooth and has a nice looking shot. I think he's the first guard off the bench next year.
