I 100% agree. Not doubting anyone’s effort, but this is the worst our defense has been in a long time.
Well when you got guys playing with 1 Arm or Hammy's so bad you cannot explode on a play I gotta cut them some slack.

They only gave up 17 which is around 10 points lower than Bearcats league average.

So not exactly horrible.

Will agree chunk plays are killers

If Colorado loses to Kansas and we win out, are we in?

That’s my understanding. KU hitting their stride at the right time. Barring injuries tonight, I think they give CU a game next week. CU has had a soft schedule to get to their record. If this comes down to Farmagedden, JTS will be incredible.

Have not looked at stats but given how many 3rd and longs ISU had the actual conversion rate did not seem to bad especially in the 2nd half...

Maybe I just had too many beers:)

Felt like every offensive play was "3rd & 9"
Oh, and we showed more 4 man fronts tonight, but most were a LB or safety on one end versus 4 true down linemen, but an adjustment nonetheless.

Really, really frustrated with the lack of ingenuity in offense. Sure, TD play to Klotz & Noel passing it were tricksy, but the bulk of our strategy was frustrating to watch.
