Wow, Coach Rhoads is an outstanding man. I hope he's here for a long time to come. He understands that coaching football is about MUCH more than X's and O's and W's. It's about teaching young men how to handle themselves in the face of adversity, how to trust others and how to hold up their end of the bargain. He is a class act all the way, and I can only hope that I can impart some of those lessons on my junior high kids as well as he does.

Rhoads is an absolutely great guy, coach, etc. I hope he stays at Iowa State for a very, very long time. If he does, he will make all Cyclone fans very proud, both on and off the field.

Not that we need any more reason to love our coach, but here's a video I took of the offense on our last drive of the game eating clock. Watch CPR's reaction after we pick up the first down...

I ******* love Rhoades...seriously. This guy gets it and even if he were to win minimal games, he gets what *COACHING* is all about.

I have had the opportunity to have a great coach in my life, and I cannot tell you how amazing it was to have the guy and how much I learned about life from him in general, how much of a better person I am today because of him.

Seriously, give this guy a ******* bonus please. He deserves it right now.

Damn this is the second time Coach Rhodes has made me cry, and I am a grown *** man. What a coach!! Wish we could get this kind of coach for my Buffalo Bills.

I grew up in Ames and I am also 28. I feel like we have a coach that understands Iowa State and Ames, Iowa.

I am damn proud that he is our coach.

There is only one coach and his name is John Sletten that could ever get me to run through a brick wall but PR is getting me close! Go Cyclones! Go Little Cyclones!

That might be better than the other video. Every time I think that I respect this man a lot, we see something like this, and that respect grows and grows and grows. We have a wonderful man here as our head coach. His priorities are right. His approach is right. He connects to these players so powerfully.

I am soooooo proud that he is our football coach. I'm so proud of this team. Great stuff.
