Just said they hadn't received an application as of Wednesday (didn't say what time) and that there would be no further comment.

I wouldn't mind this at all, except that it probably isn't an option since nobody has talked about it at all.

Why?? If they join and the Big XII falls apart, they're in the same position they're in now - Independent.

The Pac-12 doesn't allow non-secular or non-research focused schools. BYU will never get a Pac invite. Ever.

Latest is that the Big XII offer has been extended. Pres Samuelson requested the right to act on it, but BoT wants to meet first to discuss details. That meeting is tentatively set for Wednesday of this week. We should have resolution on this issue one way or the other by weeks end.
