Qualifying for Cup today was delayed to dry the track so I assumed it did. Radar sure looked like a cell moved over Newton

Why would you not be doing everything you can to make sure you keep hosting a NASCAR event? Idiotic.
On the TV broadcast they said the original plan was to not repave, but the surface was so bad, they (probably NASCAR) decided it had to be done. With the wet spring, there wasn't enough time to finish the whole track. I hope it doesn't end up like Bristol. It's supposed to be hot tomorrow, so they should be able to get some rubber on the track.
