Good adjustment by Cyclones on both sides of the ball, but were leaking points in that first half: stopped on 4th and 2 in FG range, missed PAT, red zone turnover.... left 7-10 points on the field in that half. Need to tighten up the crunch time execution to win.

Huh that was one of Rocco’s worst throws and decisions in his career.

I actually think it was a smart move. He just didn’t have the strength for whatever reason to get it out of bounds. Yes, hindsight, take the sack. But than you would have posted that he should have thrown it away. JFC, I hate most of you

It’s still on Rocco. If you are going to throw it away you better make sure you can do it. Otherwise eat the sack and don’t waste the chance to get another down and at worst 3 points. Just can’t do that there.

Reminds me of Purdy’s spin-o-rama throw. That got corrected and I am sure the coaching staff will make sure he learns from this. Hopefully the game isn’t close enough for that to matter.

True...it does happen...but that one could be a play that we look at that comes at the cost of a loss. Still a half of the game to play but that was a terrible decision! Worse than the missed XP which is incredibly frustrating as well!

Just rewound it. He wasn’t on Rocco that quick to the point he couldn’t make the decision. He started to roll a bit to the right and heave it. At that point when you start to roll you have to know whether you are able to throw that ball clear out of bounds. But it happened and our guys need to flush it and make a statement coming out of half.
