Thought they played a good 30 minutes and then a bad 10 minutes which lost them the game. Felt like players weren't making good decisions, shooting poor shots and turning the ball over. But also felt like the offense reverted back to what it has at times under Prohm which is heavy iso or ball screen stuff and the other guys standing around. The other problem was that they didn't hit open threes that they did get. If they hit 33% of threes Arizona wouldn't have been able to come back.

It could be a blessing in disguise though because I don't think these guys were beating Gonzaga or Auburn or Duke. So they get two 'easier' games and could go 2-1 instead of 1-2. If they can win the next two the tournament will be a success in my book.

Other notes, I love Michael Jacobson. What a freakin great addition he is and I don't know you take him out of the starting lineup even with Lard back. And I think you give Conditt a year or two and that could can be special. Just a natural at blocking shots and you can't teach that. Haliburton just needs to work on his shot, the rest of his game is already well developed. They rebounded the ball really well despite the size advantage of Arizona which is huge. They makes the smaller lineup that more dangerous.

Also, thought the refs sucked and it went both ways.

Yeah, the late missed calls are the ones that get talked about, but I'm pretty sure Jacobsen got a Zone shooter on the hand on a 3 point shot that went unnoticed. May have been 1st half.

I haven't gone back and watched again, but I'm not sure that I'd describe the last 10 minutes as bad. We still played good defense, still moved the ball well on offense. IMO, it came down to the fact that we missed open shots and they hit guarded shots. Sure, we made some mistakes here and there, but not a lot more often than we had been earlier.
