Maybe KU thinking about running off like Missouri, Nebraska , and Oklahoma?
(Texas doesn’t count. They are reject Southwest Conference)

At times it got pretty good, but my ears weren't ringing when I left.Watched in a bar, minus volume. Given shots of fired up fans, pretty crazy. Was there thunderous/Magic volume?
Houston has played, at KSU, at OSU, beat WV and BYU at home. So not the best of Big 12.What 3 games is Houston losing???
I'm not sold on Arizona to lose only 3 games though.
No. He was priced too high. Was ISU ever in the running for Mayo as a transfer?
Last night I was looking at various rosters and discovered that Darlinstone Dubar is playing for Tennessee and scored 12 in their win over Texas last weekend. That was more fun than stumbling on ZRF.ZRF can be found over at the Houston Cougar basketball forum Coogfans.com. He is a frequent poster and claims himself as a representative of the Iowa State Basketball fan base .
Every once in a while, I’ll scan other forums to see what news I can find on other teams. Last night I stumbled upon him and had a good laugh.
And we weren't looking for a guard. We did look at his teammate William Kyle III, though. He's coming off the bench for UCLA playing spare minutes.No. He was priced too high.
The guy who shot free throws like he's throwing a shotput? And we weren't looking for a guard. We did look at his teammate William Kyle III, though. He's coming off the bench for UCLA playing spare minutes.
Has TJ taken any “hot names” from P4 schools?Watching Selfs postgame comments last night got me thinking. He complemented TJ and staffs talent evaluation and credited that as to ISU's rise over the last 4 years. I know its been said on here that TJ and Co do deep dives into the analytics of each player.
I wonder if KU has a talent evaluation problem? If you look at who they have picked up in the way of transfers Dickinson, Storr, Mayo were all hot names when they entered the portal and they have been okay, but not near the return they should be getting for the alleged millions they have invested into them. And that is just the transfers for this year-im sure you could go back and still find similar issues
Feels like they just go after the "big" names, without doing as much evaluating IMO
When comparing this to professional sports… it is the difference between getting guys that are in a contract year vs getting guys who just signed a big deal.Has TJ taken any “hot names” from P4 schools?
He’s taken guys that don’t have fit, weren’t maximizing their skills, or were welcomed departures from their prev program.
Maybe Keshon being the most that fits that description?
I like getting guys rising from lower level or hungry contributors from other P4s where they’re not maxing out.
Gabe, IZB
They are big, strong enough to deny him easy post opportunities. That's the quickest Jackson has looked all year. I was watching him defend a guard and he moved his feet enough to keep the guard from penetrating. If he comes back next year, redistributing his weight could do wonders.Dickinson is a good player. I think he's been around so long that the book is out on him. Doesn't look like his game has really improved much. Jackson and Chatfield are stronger than him so that wore him down. He also doesn't have great defensive footwork.
Enaruna had all the skills to Nader level contributor but it never fully clicked.I don't think we've had many transfers from P5 programs.
Gabe (MN) and IZB (PSU) as you noted
Enaruna and CEO from KU!
That's all I think.
