Players came into today with the right attitude and Prohm rewards them by refusing to put the best players on the court. I don’t blame the guys for having motivation issues when the coach throws out unofficial suspensions all season.

Do you know why Lard didn't play? Do you think 5 fouls in 8 minutes helps ISU?

Honestly once Tech weathered our initial storm, most of the game felt like we were hanging on by our fingernails. Even when we got a lead, Tech went on a run every time.

Today's performance was encouraging, given the disasters in Austin and Morgantown. I don't think we've got our mojo back but at least we're playing hard.

Still, I'm not at all encouraged by Prohm's decisions on who plays and who doesn't. It feels ominous that we're heading into the postseason and every game we all question who will play, when, and for how long. It's drama that we should be long past by now.

Jacobson should have found Owens to block out instead of drifting to empty space Not shayok
Agree. Owens is Jacobson's man. If I remember though, Shayok was on the other side. Get your butt into the guy preventing that rebound. Have to see the replay. Shayok could have been top of the key for all I know. But I guess my frustration is too much watching, not enough ISU bodies on opposing players. Let the ball bounce wherever once you do what you can.

I'm sure this is partly my frustration over the constant Lard drama talking, but I can't help but feel like it would be more productive for both Lard and ISU to have a cordial parting of ways this offseason. He could use a fresh start and a coach that will let him out of the doghouse once in awhile.
Condit's progress has been hampered by the hope Cam would come around - I want Cam to figure it out but we should have given George more minutes over the season.
