I think we need to score points today, so far the OSU offense looks really comfortable.

need 35 to win, it’s a big 12 game

all this about great defense, still going to need 35 to win

OSU has been winning games when they were behind, ISU gives them the lead on the road and takes the crowd out.

Very Iowa-game-like series of events. Move ball but don’t score and turn it over. OSU moves the ball a bit and punts but pins us inside our 10. We go no where and have to punt and it was a stinker of 35 yards. They have good field position and drive down to a score.

Punting again. They pin us. Our guy can't break a wet paper towel with his leg. Gundy must be feeling really good after what he's seen.
Offensive line looks really soft too. Not a good start

They have been way underrated all year - they have very stout lines on both sides of the ball, have a serviceable passing game, a strong back, and a really solid D. The game has started, unfortunately, exactly like I most feared. Us playing timid, running constantly against the strength of their inside line, giving them way too much cushion on run defense, and letting them take an early lead.

I wouldn't mind seeing ISU use some more horizontal passing and getting Breece to the edge. Challenge the defense to move laterally

Granted, short field but OSU is feasting on our inability to get any sort penetration at the line of srimmage. This is a game we can ill afford waiting until halftime to make necessary adjustments. We need to consistently have 4 guys or more coming at the line and take away the time and space for OSU to run its offense. That will be moot if we also dont tackle better than we have thus far.

Coaching staff needs to do a better job of controlling the game from the sideline. The 4th and 1 playcall was atrocious. OSU is too good for us to be our own worst enemy.
