Gotta' give OSU props for that play action TD pass. Textbook play fake and pattern to the endzone.
Sketchy 4 down call and loosing on the punt exchange leads to the OSU td. Who would have guessed.
They have been way underrated all year - they have very stout lines on both sides of the ball, have a serviceable passing game, a strong back, and a really solid D. The game has started, unfortunately, exactly like I most feared. Us playing timid, running constantly against the strength of their inside line, giving them way too much cushion on run defense, and letting them take an early lead.
I fully expected a game that would come down to a play or two....and will be finalized in the 4th quarter....but hate we now are playing from.behind. That 4th down fail may be a pivotal play later...and like others have said...I just want to line up under center and move the pile
Time for Manning to man up and earn his money today. The offense needs to control the ball and eat up the clock.
