Wasted way too much time on that last drive. Horrible officiating but shouldn’t have been in that position.

When a crew decides to screw you, unless you're incredibly good, it makes it very hard to win. ISU been facing some adversarial reffing during the whole conference season so far.

What caused the fumble?

The right question is, what fumble? It wasn't a fumble. It was either down inside the 1 or a touchdown. There was no fumble. And the fact that there are people who get paid to still be unable to correctly interpret what every schmoe can see from their television sets indicates either a screw job or unacceptable incompetence.

WVU just wanted it more today. They were the more physical team and made more plays. Letting them go 9/15 on 3rd down and giving up a TD pass on 4th and 4 was an absolute killer.

How anyone could watch that game and come away with the opinion that West Virginia players decided that game is beyond me. 21 points handed to them AND the incredibly bad spot on Purdy's last run. No shot that you actually believe what you wrote.

Purdy played his ass off late in game! The spot was horrible on his last run, officiating awful but we poorly managed the clock in the last couple minutes. Tough loss in a game we just weren’t good!

Outcoached and ****** by officials and still could have won. However, it doesn’t matter - now we are one win away from the Liberty bowl. Sad

we probably won’t get a bowl game.

Flat out embarrassing. Matt didn't prepare this team to play. Worst Big 12 officiating I've seen in a long time.

Well we lost. Disappointing. And espn+ *ucked up for me where I couldn't even see the last 2 min.

Not a great experience with espn. Hated the game announcers. Poor streaming some of the game and nothing at the end of the game when it counted. It was like they were just giving me the finger.

This WVU team lost to Maryland and Texas Tech.

We played like total s*** on defense and didn't have the skill players on offense to overcome that. OL gave up too much pressure against 3 rushers, WR/TE couldn't create space against 7 and 8 drops all day long.

This is the kind of game that leads me to believe last season was an anomaly and we're actually still a typical 7-8 win team.

I 100% get the argument that ISU should have played better today, especially defensively - but it also would have looked a lot better had the refs not gifted 14 points to WV and stolen 7 from us. I 100% agree we didn't play well today. But the calls that went against us the last two weeks, I'm just so done with these refs.
