A couple things I liked about the 2nd half. We guarded really hard down the stretch. We didn't rebound the greatest, but we hustled and really guarded on def.

Another thing, it was really good that Cujo got to see the ball go in a lot at the end of the game. He has been so rusty lately. But tonight at the end of the game, he found a way to score a couple of times and hit some fts. Sometimes that is all you need for a scorer to get back on track.

It did, but it also provided quite the reminder of why we had those problems tuesday as well.

If we weren't shooting absolutely on fire in the first half, the second half could have been much more uncomfortable with how those turnovers were going.
I’m enjoying this win. If people want to focus on the negative aspects of the win, so be it. I guess that’s just a sign of a very strong program where people are finding faults of a 17 point win vs a ranked opponent

Honestly. I can’t remember the last time I saw him smile. I hope he’s okay.
He certainly seems pretty frustrated the last few weeks. He started complaining to the refs quite a bit before he sat out. Which is something you don't see from TJ teams

It’s time for a conversation about Gilbert. 7 turnovers is abysmal and he hasn’t been good most of the Big 12. He’s going to cost us in march. I hope I’m wrong.

I'm frustrated with the turnovers but your point stands strong: this was a needed win and ISU is still really good.

Here's the thing though....we WERE absolutely on fire in the first half. Same team did make all the threes, and also turned the ball over. Both things were true. You can't revise history and create a fictitious loss.
