I wish football and basketball coaches had to wear their teams uniform during the game like baseball managers do.

On the flip side, I think basketball goes overboard with the suit and tie.

Football coaches have the happy medium. Polo/jacket/sweatshirt and slacks

Good job by Mills after the 1st inning to hold down the fort.
100% Great performance for the kid after a shaky start. That speaks volumes. He's got some good stuff.

Maldonado...well...his offense is as advertised. And the throw down to 2nd on the steal late in the game? It got there fast, but boy was it off the mark.

Also, Darvish pitching pretty well right now (knock on wood).

Strop is due for a demotion. He's been a gas can.

He's a free agent at the end of this season. As a 34 year old reliever will be interesting what kind of contract he can get. Making $6.25 mil this year, I wouldn't be too shocked if the Cubs move on from him if he wants more than 2 years and a hefty raise.
