Lol, oh, ok
Steve Nash won an MVP over Kobe in '05-'06 when Nash averaged 18/4/10 and Kobe averaged 35/5/4. Voter fatigue is ridiculously strong in the NBA and if your team isn't top 3 in your conference you have no hope of being MVP.

so since steve nash beat kobe, lebron should have 7 mvp's, its all so clear now.
No, I was trying to point out the fact that voter fatigue is heavy in the NBA and it affects who wins the MVP every year. LeBron should've won it last year over Curry, too. No chance in hell the Cavs make the finals without LeBron. Probably would've been seeded somewhere 5-8 in the East. They hadn't even made the playoffs with Kyrie before until last year, suddenly LeBron joins and they're instantly the best team in the East.

The Bulls gave up 68% shooting to Miami last night, only the third time since the 93-94 season that a team has shot 67.5% or higher. #Hoiball!

I don't think LeBron should have won the MVP last year. Curry was the best player on a historically great team. LeBron was not nearly as good defensively last year as most prior years, his shooting from all areas dropped significantly, he was not nearly as efficient of a player as Curry. He should have won it every year in Miami, his first year down there Rose only got the award because voters didn't want to vote for LeBron after the decision so that definitely agrees with your point about voter fatigue. But I do think Curry was a deserved winner last year.

I would also argue that the Nash one over Kobe is legit too. Kobe scored a ton of points but he did on a bad team while taking a ton of shots. Nash played on a team that revolutionized the league. That MVP decision looks even better in retrospect because you see so many teams running stuff similar to what the seven seconds or less Suns were doing ten years ago, that team really changed the league.

I don't know how accurate of a representation the Bulls blogs are for their entire fan base, but they haaate Hoiberg on there. Definitely did not see it going this bad for him

they have had some serious injury issues, so it is hard to put a lot of the blame on Fred. But....the Bulls are bad and it seems like a complete rebuild is necessary. Not exactly what Bulls fans were told when Fred was hired.

I would love to know if Fred is enjoying his job or if recruiting doesn't seem so bad.

I'm not denying it's been a difficult year, but let's keep their spot in the playoff race in perspective. They're a half game back of the eight seed and only two games back of the five seed, with Jimmy Butler back next week. There's still plenty of time for them to move up in the standings with Butler back on the court.

It's still probably not the magic Bulls fans were expecting/hoping for, but it's not as if they're hopelessly out of the race.

And after this season, they'll have an opportunity to start rebuilding the team more suited to Fred's system.

it goes both ways though the 3 teams behind them are only 1, 4, and 5.5 behind the Bulls.

The problem here is for as much Fred was ahead of the curve when he got to ISU with his system and going after transfers too, he's just as behind the curve in the NBA. The guys he wants, long interchangeable, versatile guys who can shoot, are the kind of guys everyone wants now and they're the guys who get paid.

They got worked over by the Magic Wed. night.

they should get butler back in a few games. We will see if that changes anything. Fred looks unhappy.

The funny thing about the Bulls is they've beaten the cavs twice and San Antonio once. If they make the playoffs they could win some.

The Magic actually have some pretty good young talent there, although I certainly don't view them as a playoff team yet. Saw a clip of Fred on the bench doing that crack his neck or jaw thing repeatedly. Kind of sad.

That was before all the injuries. They are not the same team now. Noah was a huge loss.

Im actually upset that GS is losing, I want that record away from the bulls.
