Thank God there's no special teams in basketball...Sounds like football.

Just focused on ISU and to a lesser degree the Big 12. Don’t watch the news or listen to the local talk radio.I mean no disrespect, but do you live under a rock?
Sir! Yes, Sir!I know it sucks, and trust me, I'm going to pay the price for it as much as anyone at work and in my personal life.
But TJ cares. He gets it. TJ spoke to this in the postgame. I needed to hear it, and maybe you do too. TJ apologized to all of us who care about ISU basketball and this rivalry. For their lack of effort, for not showing up, for getting outworked. He promised it would never happen again. I, for one, will take take him at his word.
It sucks to have to wear this one as much as it possibly could. The toll will be immense and painful. But I do think this team will be better for it. Our program will be better for it. Our culture will be better for it.
TJ gets it. When's the last time our head coach would comment on how the fans feel about a game like this... maybe Johnny Orr? (Whose teams would and have done the same thing many times on the road)
Fred wouldn't apologize to you... Larry wouldn't give a **** what you think. Tim Floyd might say it, but he wouldn't mean it with one foot out the door. etc.
I say let the worst basketball fanbase in America say what they want to say. They don't know ****. They are ****. Hold your head high. WE WILL rally the troops, WE WILL circle the wagons, WE WILL re-focus and grow. WE WILL hang another banner while eiu fades and chokes, AGAIN.
We suffered a humiliating defeat tonight, no doubt. But it's not even debatable who is winning the war. And it's because of fans, loyal sons, like you. Don't ever back down from that position. Don't ever regret that passion. Don't ever minimize the part you play in it.
At Iowa State we will fight for our place in the sun, in the face of ANY adversity, against any and all odds. We will never give up, we will never back down, we will never surrender. We aren't going anywhere. No matter what.
That’s what I was thinking. I was wondering how they could be so tight to shoot so badly when we were down 20. I thought they would heat up just because the pressure was off, and we might get it to 10…but they never loosened up.Gabe and Caleb try hard. Not much for results. They need to focus more on the game, instead of being the next Jacobson.
Osun couldn't avoid fouling. Just a step slow tonight against the much quicker Rebraca.Osun 10 mins and Hason 5 mins tonight seems odd for a team that can't shoot from outside.
Didn't prepare?
They played like they've been waiting a year for this one.
ISU played like they forgot there was a game.
I really don’t understand how the staff justifies giving Kalscheur the green light on threes. He’s decent in the midrange and crafty within 5-7 feet. The threes are mostly turnovers and there’s plenty of info to inform that as a fifth year guy.
Yep, get ready for some bashing. Everytime we lose in any sport now its going to be the fault of the people who refused to give $1.
What team just played Duke in New York? Could have fooled me. Just terrible effort from coaches to players.
Wish somebody told me before the game we were having Manning from the football team guest coach the offense tonight
Because they have multiple Iowans, legacy recruits, they get up for this game, they treat it like a rivalry. Why is it that, for the better part of the past half decade, when we play Iowa, they come out with passion, execute, make big play...and we come out like we haven't ever played organized sports. Little passion....poor coaching...wth. As a fan, I'm extremely disappointed.
Thank God there's no special teams in basketball...
