Especially in the round robin where you get a second chance at every team. I blacked out most of it, but I don’t even remember any of the games being close.

I remember differently. I feel like we were in several games, but kept finding new and creative ways to lose.

One that definitely comes to mind is the game where we led Baylor most of the way and were tied with under 3 minutes left. The same baylor that went on to win a national championship.

I'm not even upset really. Classic emotional letdown.

But there is plenty wrong with this team today, and honestly despite the winning it's been trending that way. Teams are game planning better now, and everyone is going to play slow and try to pack it in till someone that isn't jones can make a shot outside 3 feet. It won't take much, just a few to keep them honest. Going to have to adjust on some game planning too, it really looked like WV caught us off guard playing so slow, playing physical with the guards, and packing it in. So the coaches have to adjust here as well.

Several guys are at a crossroads here now that everyone has scouted them. Need a few guys to respond.
Recent games I think have shown that teams have figured out how to beat us. We need to make some adjustments, show that we're a versatile team (and also execute better/more consistently on the things we're good at).

I've been reading about the refs and how they called the game. Today for a change I listened to the game on a WV radio station. They were really ******** about how bad the refs were against WV and how they were letting ISU get away with their physical play. Neither side was happy with the officiating
Kansas fans complained of the officiating the other night.

I may be a homer, but I'm not buying their complaints.

You got me I guess. I’m 24 years old and expect the #2 team in the nation to beat a unranked, injury plagued opponent.

Maybe I should know better from being a beaten down Cyclone fan.
Lol you're too young to be this negative. You know they haven't won there since you were in middle school.

Stop overreacting to a single game.

I’ve been to almost every ISU football game since the day I was born. I know all about the pain and suffering of being a Cyclone fan. Still a a truly pathetic loss.
The fact you're calling this pathetic speaks volumes.

Cmon man. Terrible shooting, unhelpful reffing, and a VERY hard away environment that also had a special celebration. That's not pathetic.

WVU fans have no idea what a foul is after 15 years of huggyball

I’m just responding to people who respond to me. Both things can be true but it’s literally every game so it’s becoming the boy who cried.

Again, I made a post and people are responding to it. If they don’t agree that’s fine but it’s weak ****.
You are taking this me personally than fans responding to you... and then you keep doubling down. That's the weak stuff here.

ISU road schedule is brutal. Home schedule more favorable.

With how we have struggled there and them honoring Jerry West I knew it probably was in the cards. Gave a good effort just wasn't enough to get it done. Just wish the one time we played WV it was at our house.
All fair, but that wasn’t very good basketball from West Virginia which makes it all the more frustrating. Could be good in the long run though, we will bounce back.
