Agreed it helps them that they are still a great offensive team without him. They are best in the country without a doubt. They will also have a game they won’t shoot well on the road and lose. No one is going undefeated in league play in the SEC, Big 12, Big 10, Big East…Duke might but that’s because the ACC is awful.

I miss the round robin greatly. I'll take a regular-season conference championship of course, but to quote the SEC, "it just means more" when you're playing home-and-aways with every other team in the league. The unbalanced schedules are lame.
Between the teams that look like the top 4 teams in the Big 12 this year (Iowa State, Houston, Kansas, Arizona), we are the only one that has to play the other three on the road.

Lots of this is an embarrassing loss, losing at WVU is probably never gonna be embarrassing.
I’ve been to almost every ISU football game since the day I was born. I know all about the pain and suffering of being a Cyclone fan. Still a a truly pathetic loss.
Basketball's not like football where you have to win ~every game or else the season's f*cked. My concerns after tonight are (i) I didn't know we were capable of playing that badly and (ii) that was just a really irritating/obnoxious game to lose, even if "It's only one close Q1 road loss, it doesn't matter that much" is true.

I think everyone who watches college basketball...except WV and Squawkeye fans know Iowa State, even though we lost tonight, are the better team.
i dont think we see a team junk up a game like that against ISU the rest of the way. morgantown is unique. i am taking nothing from this game other than i hope it pisses off the players.
ISU is really, really good but has more limitations than I think some are seeing, even with Milan.
Respectfully, you don't know pain if you didn't watch Jim Walden lose at home to UNI by two scores.
I also can't envision a tourney game being officiated like that, so hopefully we don't see this in a game that really means something.

ya. the officiating was half the junking of that game. no way a tourney game is called like that against a top seed. maybe once you get into the second weekend, but all bets are off then.
