Another tough opp. for the Twister Sisters, but very rare is it to get the #1 team in the country in your building. A win is a tough task, but if they pull it off it will make headlines across the country, maybe not ISU taking down OSU in FB big but still very significant. Hoping Anna can recreate the game she had against Baylor at home as a freshman.

Thanks CyclonesRulzzz. Yep, a huge one, the first time in history the #1 WBB team has set foot in Hilton Coliseum. As BF said in the DSM Register this morning, Griner will likely make the US Olympic team as a college junior. BF coached their point guard Odyssey Sims last year so he knows what a dynamic threat they are from all corners of the court. They probably have the best center and point guard in the nation and all the role players are silent but strong.

You're right Anna has to re-create the magic from two years ago when she basically played toe to toe with Griner. I'm afraid our guard court will be physically out-matched but maybe Moody will have one of her hot streaks.

3-pointer is the great equalizer here because Baylor shoots mostly 2's. If we get hot and hit at least 10 threes we'll be not blown out. I remember two years ago when we beat Baylor in Hilton by 20-some-odd points and it was so fun. Everybody was hitting threes. Lacey and Bolte were hot. We also beat Oklahoma that same year, and both those teams went on to the Final Four. Ah Memories.

I don't know what else to say really. After watching Baylor beat UConn on ESPN a few weeks ago it just seems like a lock that they'll win the national championship. But in college basketball, who knows.

GO CYCLONES!

We are going to get killed...badly.

Our soft front court aside from Pop is going to get exposed.

I will be at the game cheering for something different.

Surprisingly, bill has always put together a great game plan against Baylor. Last year we caused them more pRoboems than anyone but ATM. Won't surprise me if the same thing happens this year. The mystery card is to see if all of the turmoil surrounding the program will continue to weigh them down. It was very apparent last game that this chain is still around their ankles.

Was really pumped for our Freshmen front court---Prins, Poppen, Zimmerman, where they soundly beat Baylor and Oklahoma two years ago

what a difference two years makes. With the injuries and inconsistant play--these three haven't gotten any better sans Poppens

What time is the game?

7 pm tonight. I think it's on Mediacom also. Saw Lyndsey was doing color commentary for the broadcast again. Figured this one would be on FoxSports like it was two years ago. Kinda glad it isn't, just in case we play as badly as we did on Wednesday. Here's hoping that is not the case.

It's on mediacom but is being tape delayed as UNI/Drake will be live on mediacom at 7pm. Hope we get a big crowd tonight. Time for CYCLONE NATION to do what we do BEST and that's come together and give our students athletes EVERYTHING we have.

I thought about going to this game, but decided to go to one more USHL hockey game before heading back to Ames for school to restart.

Please ladies, make me regret choosing not to go to this game.

Are we sure about this? I thought there was a time in the early-mid 2000's where Texas Tech came in #1 and we beat them while just having an average year.

This is a good list and very funny, but I think the whole thing will be fouls at the point guard. I fear Moody's inability to know when to let up. We have to get their point into foul trouble.

If you look at the recap from that game is says TT was #1 in the ESPN/USA today poll, but #2 in the AP poll.

Since Baylor is ranked #1 in today's ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, I would say that you're right, that this is the second time #1 has come into Hilton. Even if Texas Tech wasn't #1 in both polls back in '04.

The AP poll is the historical poll of record in football and basketball.

Forgot one.

Missed bunnies by ISU: 10 (going conservative here).

We're playing good defense, just can't get stops. We've missed 3 layups. Brynn hits a 3, again. The streak stays alive. 13-5 with about 10 minutes gone.
