I have a better chance at Kate Upton than winning the league.

We still have to beat TCU and KSU on the road. Then OU at home. Hell...we could lose all those games.
Yes and we are still favored in each one. The odds of us winning all 4 was 22%. As crazy as it sounds the computers said this was our game least likely to win. **** it. It's college bball and this Rollercoaster is just beginning.

Another plus... Matt Thomas played another stellar game. He is a different person

perimeter defense sucks. When you get into a tournament setting, it only takes one team shooting well to take you out.

Iowa State has had a lot of time to fix/improve this problem and it still seems to be a major issue.

Maybe someone can provide stats to prove me wrong, but I don't believe last years team was as bad with perimeter defense as this years team. Long and Thomas on defense, especially together, is a recipe for disaster. The rotations are also too late. It's pretty late in the season to improve this. If they play a team in the tourney that is good at shooting, it could be a quick exit.

Niang just told Eric they came into the game thinking they wouldn't have to play hard to win. That says a lot to me.

Combination of poor defense, stupid passes, and Baylor shooting lights out. Bet $10 that Baylor doesnt hit nearly that many threes in their next game or two.

Love the rah rah, But realistically we will probably lose Saturday on the arguably 3 hardest court to win on in the league.
2 losses and we drop to maybe 20-25 this week.

then we get to play TCU on the road in a HS GYM and then OU on short notice at home.

Well, fantastic, Georges. So, when you're in the midst of a tight one, wouldn't you figure it out that you need to dial it up?

Honestly you think Naz and Thomas are the perimeter d problem? I saw it as they put 4 guys and spread us. I saw niang get killed on the perimeter, I saw Hogue get burned I saw Nader not even guarding. Naz, morris and Thomas were playing the best perimeter d but it wasn't enough we were usually 1 or 2 defenders shy. But agree we haven't figured out how to defend hoiball circa 2013 ironically.

I love this team, but they get a little over confident too often. Hopefully they don't think that in the NCAA tournament or some directional school will shock them...

Here is the part that pisses me off....

We have the deepest league...but most teams are a 7-12 seed. so most the league will be out in the first weekend.

I think they just try to hard when the pressure mounts Hoiberg needs to figure out how to lighten them up and get them playing their game.

This team thinks they are way better than they actually are. Feeling an early exit in the tourney this year.
