I think it was the correct call and judging Freyler’s reaction, he expected it and did it stop a touchdown. IMHO.I'm still not convinced the Freyler PI shouldn't have gone against the WR on that play.

It's artificial. The aspect college football is ******. Used to love it over the NFL. It's gone. We beat the hurricanes yaa! Did they want to play like it meant something? No. Also we couldn't win a watered down b12. Goes back again and again to 21 season. Had the studs on offense, really good defense. O line sub par, coaching, suspect at best. Glad Campbell got his ten win season. CongratsThis isn't rocket science Bob.
When you decide to crap all over a bowl victory that gave us 11 wins for the first time in school history other posters who appear to be bigger and better fans than you are will call you out for it.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
I saw others post this. I didn’t see what happened earlier in the play but thought Beau was intentionally grabbing his arm as he was beat.
Did something happen before that?
I think it’s seeing the very last contact which was a push off by the WR. But the early contact was Freyler grabbing and holding the WRs arm.I saw others post this. I didn’t see what happened earlier in the play but thought Beau was intentionally grabbing his arm as he was beat.

A little. There were lots of others who had great memories and shared relationships with him. It was an awesome treat to have him show up.Did you visit with Mac @Cycsk tailgate?
Higgins.I'm a little tired of the cal Ward didn't play thing. We had two NFL guys in our secondary not out there. Does anyone think for one minute Porter and verdon not being out there made a big difference? Then we lose Beau as well.
We had great players that didn't play as well.

WR was basically giving a stiff arm while the ball was in the air, giving Freyler no chance to make a play on the ball. Freyler made contact with the arm the WR was using to hold him off, and Freyler didn't turn his head, so it probably could have gone either way, but to me it was offensive PI.I saw others post this. I heard zero mention of Porter or Verdon by the announcers. Not surprised though, they were clearly rooting for Miami.I'm a little tired of the cal Ward didn't play thing. Miami is the big name team. Little ole Iowa State will be an afterthought in these games with the mediaI heard zero mention of Porter or Verdon by the announcers. Not surprised though, they were clearly rooting for Miami.
As my dad would say, “God Damn Skladany” was there too, that’s sweet!Yes and went to see Coach Skladany too
I get it. He was a Heisman finalist and projected top 10 pick in the draft. So it’s going to get more attention than our guys.I'm a little tired of the cal Ward didn't play thing. Injuries are not discussed in the media because Campbell and the coaches do not whine about them and use them as an excuse for not playing well or losing.I get it. He was a Heisman finalist and projected top 10 pick in the draft. So it’s going to get more attention than our guys.
That said, I think one of the least talked about things in all of our games (not just tonight) is how banged up our defense was. It should have been talked about more.
I think it’s usually more that despite being these dorks’ job, outside of a handful, most of them don’t do any research. Today was like 50% Cam Ward talk, 40% pop tart talk, 5% Travis Hunter and Shadeur Sanders talk, 3% cat guy talk, and 2% everything else.I heard zero mention of Porter or Verdon by the announcers. Not surprised though, they were clearly rooting for Miami.
