KU could end up wrecking the B12's reputation this year. First they lose to Illinois and UNLV. Now they have a chance to knock off ISU, BYU and Colorado. I wouldn't be surprised to see them do it.
Hate to break it to you, but that ship has not only sailed, it's almost to it's destination.
Winning in Kinnick is always hard, but nobody is going to award much credit for betting the 2024 version of Iowa.
WVU and Cincy getting swept by a Pitt team that always felt fraudulent was probably the most devastating blow, not to mention WVU looking bad vs Penn State.
BYU beat SMU, but the Ponies clobbered TCU.
OSU could have looked respectable after beating Arkansas, but they aren't elevating the conference status at all.
Tech struggled with ACU before getting manhandled by Wazzu.
UCF looked like they didn't belong on the same field as a bad Florida team.
Not to mention Colorado, who looks like one of the best teams in the conference right now, was completely outclassed by Nebby.
The national CFB media has used the Big XII's record this year to not only argue against the top 4 conference winners getting a bye, but also to argue against conference winners getting an automatic berth at all. And, frankly, it's hard to argue with them. The Big XII has looked bad. No other way to put it.
