That type of tackle happens several times a game. I'm all for player safety, but at some point common sense has to be part of the game.
I guess we’ll see if Baylor is allowed to tackle. If they are pretty obvious fixed game.

Oh we will. And good reason. Momentum fatigue. Pressure ramps up as field position changes. We got screwed.U can blame the refs all you want, but we had a chance on two 4th downs and didn’t stop them.
several times a game? Several times a series! Hell, start reviewing the line scrums for helmet to helmet accidental contact. I do feel for referees and the tough job.....but good greif. That type of tackle happens several times a game. I'm all for player safety, but at some point common sense has to be part of the game. LSU - Florida State there was an LSU player that absolutely used his helmet to take out a Florida State player - the Freyler hit results in the same penalty which is ridiculous.
GOing to be a blast of a day for Beau. Sucks for a great player like that.Football should be fun but I’m already pissed at the refs
That goes to the turnover and touchback for fumbles out of the end zone
Looked more like they just ran into each other. Think they saw Reeder extend his arms at the end of it and thought he was just shoving him to the ground. Poor call. Announcer..."welp, I don't like that call either but you gotta move on." Nah, this is the type of **** we deal with in every big conference game. Was that the correct call on Reeder? I wasn't sure what the rule is there?
Hit his shoulder pad first. This won’t be well received: lowered head, made first contact with the crown and hit the players head. Targeting. Gotta get lower and keep head up.
No idea on the second 15. Yard penalty.
Easily was a late hit out of bounds.
And his head was down, hitting with the crown of the helmet. Keeping his head up this isn’t a penalty.Hit his shoulder pad first.
